Julia is delighted to be returning to Vancouver Island in September 2019 after over 30 years of competing, training, coaching and living in Southern California.

Julia has a long and distinguished competition career which includes winning the CET medal final at age 17. She is a two-time winner of the Foxfield Derby, and has competed at the Grand Prix level in World Cup Qualifier events. She is very excited to learn more about the horse industry and is excited to put her degree to good use.
Indiana Fedoriuk
Coach
EC Competition Coach Specialist - Dressage
Indiana was born and raised on Salt Spring Island, where she started riding at the age of three. In fact, she spent her entire childhood on, or around, a horse.

In 1999 she decided to make her love of horses a career and moved to the Lower Mainland where she completed her Equestrian Canada Level 1. She taught and Evented to Training Level throughout BC until 2004. Opportunity then took her to England to work at a Three Day Eventing barn under a renowned, international trainer.  While in England, she also taught at a local riding school, and competed to Intermediate Level Eventing.

Coaches-on-Call and Stables Staff
An invaluable part of the day to day operations of the Equestrian Program is the service provided by our talented coaches-on-call and barn staff. This dedicated group of individuals works daily to provide the highest level of training for our students and care for our horses.
QMS taught me to speak my mind no matter the consequences, I found this skill invaluable. QMS also taught me the importance of friendship and loyalty and these values still hold true for me today.
